I am an international student from Malaysia. I have completed the first three years of a Bachelor of Biotechnology at the University of QLD and am currently completing an honours year with the Fairlie Group at the IMB. My honour project focuses on the protease-activated receptor 2 (PAR2) which is know to contribut to the development of various diseases. My project involves compound screeing to obtain potent PAR 2 ligands, as well as investigating the role of PAR2 in cancer progression.
