I am originally from Gladstone, QLD where I graduated with a bachelor of analytical and molecular science from CQU. Since moving to Brisbane I undertook a Honours project in the Fairlie group which focused on C3aR as a therapeutic target in allergic airway inflammation. After I received first class honours I decided to continue research in the Fairlie group for my PhD. My PhD project focuses on GPCRs in immunometabolism, and at current I am focusing on the protease activated receptor 2 (PAR2). My research interests in vivo drug models, innate immunity and immunometabolic diseases.
